::ABOUT GOLDEN BAIT COMPANY::

Owner Garth Golden officially established Golden Bait Company in 1978, however Garth had made lures for himself for ten years prior to the formation of the company.  

Garth has participated and placed in several tournaments through the years. He placed 25th in the Florida Invitational BASS Tournament and in 1977 placed in the top 25 in the American Bass Fisherman.  In 1981 he was elected Twin City Bassmasters Fisherman of the year. Garth has had to limit his tournament fishing for the past several years. Garth gave several seminars in the 80's on techniques of bass fishing and techniques of pitching and flipping.

As you can see Garth has “Been there and done that”. This is why we here at Golden Bait Company we feel we know what you are looking for in a fishing lure. With Garth's years of experience on the tournament trail we know the fisherman is tired of investing in lures that really don’t get the job done. That’s why we use only the best materials. We use only ball bearing swivels on our “Lil Rascal” line to ensure optimum performance. Weight, balance and the action of the bait are also taken into consideration. Our lures are made by hand to ensure the finest quality.
